Gavrilović carries the approved establishment number 399 that means we conform to all requirements for the export of meat and meat products to EU-member countries. Based on special approvals and certificates we are also eligible for export to the United States and we are also listed as approved suppliers of food items for NATO military units.
The largest section of our exports accounts for regional markets: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. We also export to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Luxemburg, Sweden, Great Britain, and Slovakia. Our exports to the United States, Australia and Canada have also been continuously increasing.
Once Croatia joins the European Union and customs barriers disappear, Gavrilović will be provided with a great opportunity to increase export sales. Gavrilović has the advantage of ISO 22000 certification and our company is currently implementing the ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 norms. Furthermore, our next plan is to implement the necessary procedures required to obtain Halal certification in the near future.
Continuous monitoring of our competitors, market analyses, and employee training, in addition to following regulations, guidelines and EU pre-accession funds, confirm our strategy orientation: to export to the European market. We have already passed all national and international audits, which is proof that our production processes and products meet the strictest European and American standards of quality and food safety.
